Behind the Scenes – Fun Facts You’ll Love
What is the best advice you’ve received?
The best advice came from one of my favorite managers early in my career: “There’s always some truth to every side of a story.” It’s been my secret weapon in navigating tough situations, helping me find clarity, understanding, and a whole lot of objectivity.
If you could only have one food for life, what would it be?
Talk about a tough choice! But I’d probably go with salmon and brussels sprouts… though let’s be honest, coconut-almond-chip ice cream could easily steal the top spot!
Most unusual bucket list item?
A breakfast date with giraffes at Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya. I mean, how could you not want to have a meal with those majestic creatures?
If you had to sing karaoke, which song would you choose?
Anything by James Taylor, Carly Simon, or Carole King. They remind me of my childhood when my sister and I would belt out their hits – and I still love them to this day!
What is your favorite movie of all time?
Definitely Gone With the Wind. Growing up in Virginia, it felt like part of the culture, and I’ve watched it more times than I can count – well, I’m still counting!
If you could have a superpower for a day, what would yours be?
Well, as someone who’s not exactly a natural athlete, I’d have to say that the ability to scale a tough mountain trail would be my ultimate superpower moment. The idea of reaching a summit in one of our beautiful national parks is definitely appealing! And then maybe Mt. Everest!
